Special Town Board Meeting with MCC March 20th, 2024-10am

Please take NOTICE:    That a meeting of the Town Board and representatives of the MCC Quarry will take place on March 20th at 10 am at the Hortonville Hortonia Fire Hall at 10am. Public Comment is welcome. The Town Attorney will be present as well as a possible quorum of Planning Commission Members.

The Town Board reserves the right to convene into closed session pursuant to Wis. Stat. § 19.85(1)(g) for the purpose of conferring with legal counsel for the Town who is rendering oral or written advice concerning strategy to be adopted by the Town with respect to litigation in which the Town is or is likely to become involved; and pursuant to Wis. Stat. § 19.85(1)(e) for the purpose of deliberating or negotiating the purchasing of public properties, the investing of public funds, or conducting other specified public business, whenever competitive or bargaining reasons require a closed session. If the Board convenes into closed session, it will be for the purpose of discussing the MCC quarry matter and/or other pending or threatened litigation.
